About the author
Enterprise architect turned change manager. Twenty-five years of seeing organizations invest in technology and become slower — and a book about why.
I have been an architect, a CTO's right hand and a consultant in organizations that spent millions on transformation and ended up harder to change. The pattern repeated so reliably that it stopped looking like bad luck. Screw Architecture, Manage Change is the argument I wish someone had made to me earlier: architecture creates value only when it increases the organization's capacity to change, and most of what we call architecture does the opposite.
Well of Wisdom is the small publishing house behind the book, the blog and the talks. If you want the argument in your organization — a keynote, a workshop with your leadership team, an afternoon with your architects — write to me.
